We are pleased to announce that basketball activities at BBI will resume tomorrow (Wednesday, the 12th). A post-cyclone assessment has confirmed that the stadium is safe and ready to go. Additionally, almost all external venues have confirmed they are open. However, we are still awaiting confirmation for Ford Aussie Hoops venues, as well as BBC and Gregory Terrace.
Today, we began reinstalling the power distribution board, and the work is on track to be completed by midday tomorrow. As a refresher, the board was temporarily relocated before the cyclone as a precautionary measure.
Before the renovations, the power board was positioned at the top of the grandstand to protect it from potential flooding. However, as part of the renovations, it was moved to the ground floor, putting it at greater risk. To safeguard it from potential flood damage, we relocated it temporarily and are now in the process of reinstalling it.

There will be no U23s games this week. However, GBL Gold are confirmed to proceed on Wednesday night at Auchenflower Stadium. Vets games are also confirmed for Wednesday night.
For all other games scheduled at external venues, we anticipate they will proceed as planned. However, we are awaiting final confirmation, which we expect to receive by midday tomorrow. We appreciate your patience and will provide an update as soon as we have more information.
Ford Aussie Hoops sessions are currently awaiting final confirmation from our external venue partners. We are working closely with them to ensure everything is in place for sessions to resume safely.
