While over the coming months there will be disruption to court access the team has worked hard to minimise the impact where we can and we’re looking forward to the upgrade of the facilities that will benefit the association for the years to come.
The redevelopment work scheduled to commence in January 2024 will significantly impact court access at Auchenflower Stadium.
We’ve been working hard to minimise this impact and to secure additional courts to allow for the continued delivery of the Senior Social and GBL competitions.
We anticipate that we will only have access to courts 3 and 4 from 4:30pm each day. From 4:30 - 6pm the representative program will have access, followed by the Senior Social and GBL competitions.
We appreciate that this will cause an inconvenience to teams and players. However, we do ask for your understanding and continued support over this period.

We have secured BGS as a venue for the GBL program on a Wednesday night. The GBL u23s will continue to be played on BBC. Thank you to both BGS and BBC for their continued
support of BBI programs.
We anticipate moving the displaced games to Brisbane South State Secondary College,
located at 179 Annerley Rd, Dutton Park, QLD 4102. This is the only venue we were able to get access to two courts Sunday-Thursday. Logistically, this is the most practical option for Players, Clubs, Referees, Court Supervisors and the BBI Administration. It is important to note that the surface type at this venue is Taraflex (performance vinyl) (more info on surface here).
At the recent GBL / Senior Social Delegates meeting, it was unanimously determined that grades would play across BBI (Auchenflower Stadium) and Brisbane South State Secondary College. The draw will be constructed in a way that provides a balance of games across the venues.
BBJBC games will likely not be played at Auchenflower Stadium. We have secured several venues for both Friday and Saturday to ensure all games can be delivered.
